Wicklow Tourism New Website

Wicklow County Tourism has launched recently its latest website.  The new site was developed by InCloud.ie.  This new site introduces a lot of new features from the old one.

• Standardized and simplified data entry with automated display functions (huge time savings)
• Mobile website & solutions:  dedicated design and tailored solutions.

• Extended focus on Town & Villages:  automatic post display under same town or village
• Multi language translation option
• Integrated Social Media:  Facebook, Youtube, RSS, Twitter, etc.
• Extended web structure flexibility and personalisation opportunities:  background, slideshow, widgets areas, calendar, categories, menus, etc.
• Tailored Web Search function
• Desktop & Mobile online mapping solution
• Extended sorting through Tags

From our perspective, this new web will help to:

• Increase visitors experience to our web for both desktop and smartphone users.
• Standardize and improve the online information on Towns & Villages in Wicklow:  attractions, activities, accommodation, food and drink, shopping, calendar of events. 
• Develop on-the-ground exposure through the use of dedicated QR Code stickers or posters for smartphone users.
• Offer our members the opportunity to update and enhance their information on our website through dedicated slide show for imagery, special offers, calendar of events, etc.
• Increase revenue through online advertising
